A graduate of the “prestigious” School of Journalism at South Dakota State University, Christopher developed an interest in the art of screenwriting during his four years working for South Dakota Public Broadcasting. In the years after public broadcasting, his career has taken him for a journey across the many realms of communications and entertainment.
With stops along the way for media planning, public relations and advertising, Christopher is currently employed as a Marketing Manager for Ameriprise Financial in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota.
While his career has moved into marketing, his passion for writing has not diminished. In recent years, he has done freelance work for several monthly publications, as well as having his short story Temporary Occupation published in the New Blood Anthology in 2005. Mo Mushi is the fourth feature-length screenplay he has contributed to.
Christopher grew up in Norwalk, Iowa but has lived in the Twin Cities for the better part of ten years, with small stints in Denver, Colorado and Lawrence, Kansas during that time as well.
Other “interesting” facts about Christopher:
• Worked as Public Relations Manager for SCCA Pro Racing in 2003, getting paid to "watch cars go fast and write about it."
• Smoked a hookah at an Indian restaurant in Old San Juan in 2003. Nothing meaningful there, just an interesting fact.
• Has never watched any of the Godfather trilogy.
• Saw John Tesh in concert, but has erased the experience from his memory.
• Was once mistaken for Nicolas Cage at a McDonald’s, but the woman behind the counter might have been high at the time.
